Takes control when you allow itBeta
Say “do it for me” and Speechy's Agent asks to use your Mac for that one task. Press Allow once or say yes, and it presses buttons, types, picks menus and scrolls in your apps while the edge of the screen glows. Move the mouse or press Esc and you're back in control at once.
How to use Takes control when you allow it
Ask it to do it
Say what you want done, and that you want it done for you.
Say yes
Press Allow once or say yes. Not now, or a spoken no, stops it.
It works in your apps
The screen's edge glows while it presses, types and picks menus.
Done, with Undo
It says what changed, with the app's own Undo when there is one.
What you say, what it does
Finder
You say
“Rename these files by date, do it for me”
The Agent
Asks “Use your Mac to rename these 12 files?”, renames them after your yes, then offers Undo Rename.
Slack
You say
“Send that reply for me”
The Agent
Asks for a yes that names sending before it presses Return in Slack.
Any walkthrough
You say
“Press Do it on a step”
The Agent
Asks to use your Mac for just that step, does it and hands back.
Questions
No. Every action needs your yes for that task. Deleting, sending, paying or buying needs a yes that names it, and it never presses ⌘Q.
Move the mouse, click, scroll, press Esc, press Stop in the notch or say “stop”. Control comes back to you at once.
When the app's Edit menu has an Undo, the notch shows it as the Agent finishes, like Undo Rename.
