Mac apps
Speechy's notch assistant can read and act in the apps already on your Mac: Apple Mail, Calendar, Reminders, Notes, Messages, Music, Finder and your Obsidian vault. Turn each one on under On this Mac in Integrations and allow macOS's permission. Then say things like "Move my 3pm to Friday" or "Add milk to my shopping note".
How to use Mac apps
Open On this Mac
In Integrations, below the cloud apps.
Allow access
macOS asks once. Obsidian asks for your vault folder instead.
Ask or tell
Follow ups work too, like "reply to the second one".
Check and send
Sends, adds and changes show in the notch first.
What you say, what it does
Apple Mail
You say
“Reply to the second one saying Friday works”
Speechy does
A reply to that email in the notch, sent after you OK it.
Notes
You say
“Add milk to my shopping note”
Speechy does
Milk at the end of your shopping note, as a list item when the note ends in a list.
Obsidian
You say
“Add call the bank to my daily note”
Speechy does
A line in today's daily note, using your vault's own daily note folder and date format.
